Our Online Classes 

ONLINE CLASSES — TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions apply specifically to online classes offered by La Sentío International Flamenco School, operated by Héctor Puig, trading as Puig-La Sentio Flamenco Experiences (“La Sentío,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By booking an online class, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Booking & Payment

Online classes require payment in advance.

Registration must be completed at least 24 hours before the scheduled class. Your place is confirmed once full payment has been received.

Payment may be made through the payment methods offered at the time of booking, which may include credit or debit card, Stripe, PayPal, bank transfer, or other available methods.

Depending on your payment method or country of residence, additional currency-conversion, banking or payment-provider fees may apply. Any such fees are the responsibility of the student.

Early Bird Pricing

Where an Early Bird price is offered for a group class, payment must be received between the 1st and 5th of the month in which the class takes place in order to qualify for the Early Bird price.

Payments received after the Early Bird deadline will be charged at the applicable regular price.

2. Group Classes — Minimum Participants

A minimum of 3 registered participants is required for an online group class to proceed in its live interactive format.

If fewer than 3 participants are registered by the applicable deadline, La Sentío may, at the teacher's discretion:

• reschedule the class to a future date; or

• provide registered participants with a recorded video covering the planned exercises and material for the class.

Where a recorded alternative is provided, registered participants will receive 7 days of access to the recording.

In either case, the student will receive the educational content associated with the booking and will not lose the value of their payment.

The school will communicate any such change to registered participants as soon as reasonably possible.

3. Private Online Classes

Private online classes are reserved specifically for the individual student and therefore require advance notice for cancellations or changes.

Cancellation 48 hours or more before the class

If you provide at least 48 hours' written notice by email, you may reschedule the lesson, subject to Irene's availability.

Cancellation between 48 and 24 hours before the class

Cancellations made between 48 and 24 hours before the scheduled class are eligible for a 50% refund.

Cancellation less than 24 hours before the class

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled class are non-refundable.

Failure to attend a scheduled private class without prior notice will be treated as a cancellation within 24 hours and will therefore be non-refundable.

4. Online Group Class Cancellations

Cancellation 48 hours or more before the class

If you cancel at least 48 hours before the scheduled class, your payment may be credited toward a future online group class of your choice, subject to availability.

Cancellation less than 48 hours before the class

Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled class are non-refundable and non-transferable, as your place has been reserved and may not be possible to fill at short notice.

No-shows

If you do not attend a scheduled group class and have not cancelled in advance, your payment will not be refunded or credited.

However, if you have purchased Recording Access or a Live + Recording option, you will still receive the recording according to the access period applicable to that purchase.

5. Access to Online Classes

Online classes are delivered through Zoom unless otherwise stated.

Once payment has been confirmed, your Zoom link and other access details will be sent to you by email.

Online classes are closed events. Access is provided through a private link and, where applicable, password shared only with confirmed participants.

You must not share your access link, password or other class-access information with another person.

6. Recordings

Where recording access is included with your purchase, the class recording will normally be available for 7 days from the date of the class.

Recordings are provided for your personal educational use only.

All class recordings and teaching materials remain protected by copyright. You may not:

• share a recording with another person;

• download, copy or reproduce the recording;

• publish or upload the recording to the internet;

• distribute it through social media, messaging services or other platforms;

• use it for teaching or commercial purposes; or

• otherwise make the recording available to third parties.

Unauthorised sharing, downloading, reproduction or publication of class recordings is strictly prohibited.

7. Recording Access Only

For selected classes, students may purchase Recording Access Only instead of attending live.

Recording Access Only provides access to the full class recording for 7 days following the class.

Live participation is recommended because the online classes are designed to be interactive and include real-time corrections and interaction with Irene and the other participants.

8. Technical Requirements

Students are responsible for having the equipment and internet connection necessary to participate.

You will need:

• a computer, tablet or phone connected to the internet;

• a Zoom account (free);

• a camera; and

• a microphone.

Your device's built-in camera and microphone are generally sufficient.

For the best experience, we recommend:

• connecting via cable rather than Wi-Fi where possible;

• closing unnecessary applications during the class; and

• setting Zoom's microphone Noise Reduction to Low.

This setting is particularly important for flamenco classes because standard noise reduction may interpret footwork and palmas as background noise, making it more difficult for Irene to hear and provide accurate corrections.

We cannot guarantee uninterrupted access where technical problems are caused by your internet connection, equipment, software, electricity supply or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

9. Safe Practice

Online flamenco classes involve physical movement and should be practised in a suitable and safe environment.

Before participating in your first online class, you are strongly advised to read our Safe Practice Guide.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have sufficient space to move safely and for working within your own physical abilities.

10. Cancellations by the School

We may occasionally need to cancel or reschedule a class because of circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including instructor illness, technical problems or other unforeseen circumstances.

If the school cancels a class, you will be offered either:

• a full credit toward another suitable class; or

• a full refund of the amount paid for the cancelled class.

If a group class does not reach the minimum number of participants, the provisions in Section 2 — Group Classes: Minimum Participants will apply.

We may also make reasonable changes to the advertised class programme where circumstances beyond our reasonable control require us to do so.

11. Cancellations & Communication

All cancellation and rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing by email to:

The applicable cancellation period is determined by the time the written cancellation request is received.

12. Acceptance of These Terms

By selecting the checkbox confirming acceptance of these Terms & Conditions and completing your booking, you confirm that:

• you have read and understood these Online Classes Terms & Conditions;

• you agree to the applicable payment, cancellation and refund policies;

• you understand the applicable booking deadlines;

• you understand the minimum-participant requirement for group classes;

• you understand the conditions governing access to and use of class recordings; and

• you agree to comply with the conditions governing participation in the online class.

These Terms & Conditions form part of your agreement with La Sentío International Flamenco School for the online class you are booking.
