International Workshops & Masterclasses
Bringing the language of flamenco from Seville to dancers around the world.
Learn from inside Seville's professional flamenco world.
For more than twenty years, Irene has built her career inside Seville's professional flamenco world — performing, creating and teaching while continuing to work alongside professional artists.
Irene has a particular ability to explain the unwritten language of flamenco in a way that students can understand and apply to their own dancing
Irene travels internationally to teach workshops and masterclasses, bringing the knowledge and experience of more than twenty years inside Seville’s professional flamenco world.
Her teaching brings together technique, compás, musicality and interpretation, helping dancers understand not only what they are dancing, but why it works.
Depending on the format and level, workshops may explore technique, compás, musicality, interpretation and improvisation — always with an emphasis on understanding rather than simply reproducing.
Her career gives her the experience. Her teaching makes that experience accessible.
A different approach to learning flamenco
A workshop can give you:
✓ Steps to practise
✓ Material to reproduce
✓ A sequence to remember
✓ Something to take home
Irene's approach adds:
✓ Understanding of flamenco's language
✓ Musical awareness and active listening
✓ The ability to understand why things happen
✓ Tools for greater independence and expression
Finally understand what happens on stage.
You don't need to speak Spanish. You need to learn how to listen.
Irene’s signature flamenco experience since 2019
La Artillería is a deeper exploration of the conversation between dance, cante and guitar — designed for dancers who want to understand flamenco from the inside.
At the centre of La Artillería is cante.
Not simply something the dancer hears in the background, but something to listen to, understand and respond to.
You learn to recognise its structures, hear its nuances and understand the dialogue between singer, guitarist and dancer.
Because flamenco is not a sequence of movements performed over music. It is a conversation.
Bring Irene to your city
Host an International Workshop.
If you run a flamenco school, studio, festival or cultural organisation, you can invite Irene to bring her teaching to your city.
Each program can be adapted to the level of your students, the format of your event and the needs of your community.
