Meet Irene "La Sentío"
Professional bailaora. Teacher. Founder.
She wasn't born into flamenco. She earned her way into it.
It was the Farrucos — one of flamenco's most legendary families — who gave Irene the name “La Sentío,” recognizing in her an innate musical sense that could not be taught, only lived.
For more than twenty years, she has built her career from the inside of Seville's professional flamenco world — and she's still there. She continues to perform in Seville and on international stages, while teaching and creating at the height of her career. Her reputation now reaches far beyond Spain.
She learned flamenco the only way it can truly be learned — by listening, watching, performing, failing, and earning her place among artists who had lived it since birth. In time, she earned something rarer than fame: the respect of the greatest flamenco performers of her generation.
Now she gives you what it took her twenty years to earn. Every class.
