We built La Sentío Flamenco School to give dancers access to the knowledge, musicality and codes of flamenco that are often learned only through years of immersion in the professional world.

The goal is not simply to produce students who can replicate choreography. It is to develop dancers who understand what they are doing and why — and can carry that understanding into any flamenco situation with confidence.

We believe understanding should come first.
Flamenco is more than movement. Compás, cante, musicality, technique and cultural context aren't advanced subjects to be added later.
They are the foundation.
We teach them as one connected language, so students don't simply learn what to do — they understand what they're hearing, why they're moving and how to respond.
