By completing a booking and payment, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions.

2. BOOKING AND PAYMENT
All in-person classes must be booked in advance.
A booking is confirmed once:
the requested class, date and time have been agreed;
the required participant information has been provided; and
full payment has been received.
Payment may be made through the payment methods offered at the time of booking, including credit/debit card, Stripe, PayPal, bank transfer or other available methods.
Unless otherwise agreed, payment must be completed at least 48 hours before the scheduled class to guarantee the booking.
Any currency-conversion charges, bank fees or payment-provider fees associated with the payment are the responsibility of the student.
3. PRIVATE CLASSES
Private classes are reserved specifically for the person or persons named in the booking.
Because the time is held exclusively for you, the following cancellation policy applies:
More than 48 hours before the class
You may request to reschedule the class to another mutually available date.
Between 48 and 24 hours before the class
You may cancel and receive a 50% refund of the class fee.
Less than 24 hours before the class
The class is non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.
The same policy applies to a failure to attend the class without sufficient notice.
All cancellation or rescheduling requests must be made in writing by email to lasentio@gmail.com.
4. GROUP CLASSES
Group classes require a minimum number of participants in order to take place.
The minimum number is 3 registered participants.
If the minimum number has not been reached, La Sentío may, at the teacher's discretion:
reschedule the class to another suitable date; or
provide registered participants with a video summary of the planned exercises and/or material instead of holding the class.
If a video alternative is provided, registered participants will receive access to it for 7 days.
In either case, participants will receive an alternative to the originally scheduled class.
5. GROUP CLASS CANCELLATIONS
If you are unable to attend a group class:
More than 48 hours before the class
Your payment may be credited toward a future group class of your choice, subject to availability.
Less than 48 hours before the class
The payment is non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another class.
No-show
If you do not attend and have not provided sufficient notice, no refund or credit will be provided.
If you have purchased a class that includes recording access, you will still receive access to the recording in accordance with the recording terms below.
6. BOOKING DEADLINE
Registration for in-person classes must normally be completed at least 24 hours before the scheduled class.
Late bookings may occasionally be accepted at the discretion of La Sentío, subject to availability and practical arrangements.
A booking is not guaranteed until payment has been received.
7. CLASS LOCATION
In-person classes may take place at different studios, venues or other suitable locations in Andalusia, depending on the type of class and location booked.
The specific location will be provided as part of the booking information.
Students are responsible for arriving at the designated location on time.
Where a class takes place at a third-party venue, students are also expected to follow that venue's reasonable rules and safety requirements.
8. TRAVEL AND TRANSPORTATION
Unless explicitly included in the price of a class or package, transportation, accommodation and other travel expenses are not included in the class fee.
Where transportation or travel by the teacher is required to provide a class outside the usual teaching location, any applicable travel or transportation charges will be communicated before the booking is confirmed.
9. PHYSICAL ACTIVITY AND SAFE PRACTICE
Flamenco classes involve physical activity, including footwork, movement, turns, changes of direction, use of arms and posture, and potentially prolonged periods of standing.
Students are responsible for participating within their own physical capabilities.
Before participating, students should inform the teacher of any relevant physical limitations, injuries, conditions or other circumstances that may affect their ability to participate safely.
Students should not participate if they believe doing so would be unsafe for them.
Instructions given by the teacher regarding technique, movement, footwear, space or physical practice should be followed.
La Sentío cannot guarantee that participation will be suitable for every individual.
10. FOOTWEAR, CLOTHING AND PERSONAL EQUIPMENT
Students should wear clothing and footwear appropriate for flamenco practice and the specific class.
Where flamenco shoes are required, students are responsible for bringing suitable footwear unless otherwise stated.
Students should ensure that their footwear is properly fitted and appropriate for the floor on which the class takes place.
The teacher may ask a student to modify or remove unsuitable footwear or equipment where it presents a safety concern.
11. PERSONAL BELONGINGS
Students are responsible for their personal belongings during classes.
La Sentío is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal property brought to a class, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
12. CLASS RECORDINGS AND PHOTOGRAPHY
Certain classes, workshops or educational activities may be photographed or recorded for educational, promotional or documentation purposes.
Where students may appear recognisably in promotional photography or video, La Sentío will seek the appropriate permission or consent where required.
Students must not photograph, record or livestream the teacher, other students or class material without permission.
Any recording made available to students as part of a class remains protected by copyright and may only be used for the student's personal educational purposes.
13. CLASS MATERIALS AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All teaching materials, exercises, demonstrations, videos, written materials, musical resources and other educational content provided by La Sentío remain protected by applicable intellectual-property rights.
Students may use these materials for their own personal study.
Unless expressly authorised, students may not:
reproduce or distribute teaching materials;
upload them to another website or platform;
sell or commercially exploit them;
use them to teach their own classes;
share paid educational content with other people; or
reproduce substantial parts of the teaching methodology or materials for commercial purposes.
Learning from a class does not transfer ownership of the school's educational materials or intellectual property.
14. CLASS CONDUCT
Students are expected to behave respectfully toward the teacher, other students, musicians, venue staff and other participants.
La Sentío reserves the right to ask a participant to leave a class or venue where their behaviour is disruptive, abusive, threatening, discriminatory or otherwise inappropriate.
In such circumstances, no refund is guaranteed.
15. MINORS
Students under the age of 18 may participate only with the consent and appropriate involvement of a parent or legal guardian.
The parent or guardian is responsible for ensuring that the class is appropriate for the minor and for providing any information necessary for safe participation.
16. CHANGES OR CANCELLATION BY LA SENTÍO
We make every reasonable effort to provide classes as advertised.
However, classes may occasionally need to be changed, rescheduled or cancelled because of circumstances including illness, injury, travel disruption, venue problems, technical or operational issues, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Where La Sentío cancels a class, the student will normally be offered either:
a suitable alternative date; or
a full refund of the amount paid for the cancelled class.
Where a group class does not meet the minimum number of participants, the alternatives described in Section 4 will apply.
17. TEACHER AVAILABILITY
Class dates and times are subject to the teacher's professional schedule.
Because Irene “La Sentío” is an active professional performer and teacher, occasional changes to dates or schedules may be necessary.
Where a change is required, La Sentío will make reasonable efforts to provide an alternative arrangement.
18. NO GUARANTEED RESULTS
Flamenco development depends on many factors, including previous experience, physical practice, musical understanding, attendance and individual learning pace.
La Sentío provides instruction, guidance and educational resources but does not guarantee any particular level of technical, artistic or professional result.
19. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND VENUES
Some classes may be provided at third-party studios, venues or other locations.
La Sentío is not responsible for circumstances arising solely from a third party's acts or omissions, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
Venue-specific rules may apply in addition to these Terms & Conditions.
20. LIABILITY
To the extent permitted by applicable law, La Sentío will not be responsible for loss, damage or injury arising from participation in a class where such loss, damage or injury results from circumstances outside our reasonable control or from a participant's failure to follow reasonable instructions.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
21. CANCELLATION REQUESTS
All cancellation and rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing by email to:
lasentioflamencoschool@gmail.com
The relevant cancellation period is determined by the time the written request is received.
Messages sent through social media or other channels should not be relied upon as a formal cancellation request unless La Sentío confirms receipt and acceptance of the request.
22. CONSUMER RIGHTS
These Terms & Conditions are intended to operate alongside, and not replace, any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you under applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any statutory right that cannot legally be waived or excluded.
Where mandatory consumer-protection legislation provides rights that differ from these Terms, the mandatory legislation will apply.
23. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that may apply to you under the laws of your country or place of residence.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, disputes will be subject to the courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
24. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
La Sentío may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
The version applicable to a booking will normally be the version in effect when the booking is made, unless a change is required by law or is otherwise applicable to an existing booking.
